The context
Global service audiences needed clear learning resources for commercial technology products. Product information had to become material that people could navigate and use, with technical review and a process for publication and maintenance.
My active client-delivery assignment ran from July 2022 to July 2026, through Pickado. It overlapped with my other Pickado responsibilities; it was not a separate claim of direct Lenovo employment.
My role
As Technical Training Specialist, I owned technical learning deliverables and worked with international engineers and subject-matter experts. The work included SCORM and virtual instructor-led learning across ThinkPad, ThinkCentre and ThinkStation programmes.
Across that assignment, I owned delivery of 100+ courses and delivered live sessions, including one global session with 50+ participants. These describe delivery volume and a particular session, rather than unique learner reach or measured learning impact.
The approach
The work connected information gathering, technical explanation, stakeholder review and publication. Engineers and specialists supplied product expertise; learning and delivery work turned that material into structured resources for the intended audience.
Review was part of the deliverable. Technical information needed to be checked, questions resolved and revisions incorporated before publication. After launch, the material also needed a route for updates and maintenance.
My role therefore involved both technical understanding and coordination: knowing enough to ask the right question, making the explanation usable and working through the review process with the people responsible for accuracy.
What was delivered
Technical learning resources for international service audiences, including self-paced and live learning formats. The public summary does not claim a measured increase in certification performance, a reduction in service time or a total number of unique learners.
The lesson I take forward
The useful connection is between expert knowledge and the learner’s next action. A good explanation needs an audience, a task, accurate information and a way to keep it current. That is the perspective I bring to technical enablement and customer-facing work today.
